Kuching day 1

My friend from Penang was in Kuching for a few days.
She went to Bako National Park (in previous post), Semenggoh wild life, Sarawak Cultural Village (in previous post), Fairy Cave, Wind Cave, Tasik Biru, Siniawan, Friendship Park and many other food hunting trips in Kuching.

This is what my friends and I planned for her in a day.

Breakfast at Sin Lian Shin, Green road, my favorite kolok mee in town.

went to the civic center to see the beautiful view of Kuching but the observatory deck at level 3 was closed. We kinda sneaked into level 2 and managed to see the beautiful view of Kuching.

Planetarium in Kuching, this place is so underrated,
It was still under maintenance when we were there but the officer is kind enough to let us in and do a private mini tour for us. HOW KIND!
Please call and check whether they have resume the business. It is only RM2 per visit.
I will highly recommend anyone to pay a visit, it is just beside the civic center.

We departed from the port to see the sea stack aka landmark then the boat man dropped us at T. Paku (0.8km to Park HQ), We trekked along the trail to park HQ and took a boat from park HQ to go back to the port.

We didn't see any crocodile but just crocodile's prey.

we headed back to the pier to gather with my friends and depart to the sea stack.

we didn't see any other people on the island when the boatmen first dropped us at the T. Paku. It is like we own the island!
