Weekends.

This is rojak post combining photos in my camera roll.

Pray for MH370, saw this walls writing all the wishes and prayers from uni students outside the central language center before attending my Bahasa Melayu class the other day. The recent search is still ongoing after nearly a month and but heading to a clearer direction. This time everybody knows about Malaysia. There were many rumors regarding the issue but there is no solid evidence. So, let's not judge but pray for them. Watching the news and reactions of the family members are so grieving. May God bless the world. It is just real sad.

Went for food hunt with WS on a Saturday. Yum Yum chicken rice for lunch! Everything was delicious and impeccable.

Did some shopping at CityOne afterwards. Bought some dry shampoo ( from Etude House) and nail polish remover (from SaSa). The dry shampoo didn't hit my expectation level but it makes my hair smelt so good. And Loccitane was having sales at the spring. I bought a hair conditioner at 50%. Loccitane never failed to make me smell good. My hair was so soft and manageable.

Next, WS wanted to have some desserts. ZenQ was the nearest spot we could reach.

The serving was just right for two! ;p

Sunday.

Went to Sunday service and realised that WS and I are wearing the same white tee and blue jeans. *kinda awkward but funny.

Sunday breakfast

Lemme take a selfie. ;D

Met up with WS's aunty who was here for some church events so we sent her back and discovered this beautiful residential area in Kuching, somewhere near sunny hill.

Dinner time !

Vietnamese for din din. Chicken Pho I had.

so delighted the moment I receive this gift from my Angel.

Mind stuck after a day of revision and the weather was making me extra stress.
Decided to take a break during exam week and headed for some coffee.
First time to B!ng Coffee.

Finally received my parcel from Charles& Keith.
I have a new wallet, like finally ! Big love to my parents <3 p="">

Minoru Japanese Reatsurant.

Cautions! This is a midnight food post.

Actually I planned to sleep early because I have to wake up early tomorrow but I felt like updating this space. Yeah, I know, It was so dead, like always. HAHA! Things are awesome lately. too many good things happened to me, I felt so blessed. Was really grateful for everything and nice people around who played their role well. There are many good people on earth just that you meet them or not.

Okay, back to the topic! FOOD !

Went to this restaurant weeks ago to try their sashimi, I had heard many good reviews about them and finally I got to try. Arrived around 2:30pm because we just had brunch and afternoon nap so it was empty in the restaurant.

Ain't hungry yet so we ordered some side dishes to satisfy the temptation to try/eat.

RM25 for 5 pieces of sashimi, it was pricey but they were so fresh ! So once in a while should be okay.

Unagi , RM28.

There is another imported unagi from Japan at RM40.

Mum ordered salads because she wanted to have some fruits and vegetables.

waitress recommended this, the crab sticks were from Japan. *woots.

The food was above average, fresh and good service. Once in a while, it could be a great place for jap food. I said once in a while because of $$$. HAHAHA!

Okay, gonna sleep. my vision is getting blur.

Swee Kang X Bla Bla Bla

My parents were here in Kuching to celebrate my 21 birthday last week.
So I brought them around for food and sightseeing.

Mum asked: what people usually do in Kuching? Let's bring us to somewhere that is unique (Miri doesn't have one).
I hesitated for a while and said: "Museum"
.....

I summarised some major factors people comes to Kuching. Either medicine & treatment, food, visit their loved one, education or maybe sightseeing. But I would think that the main attraction for me is FOOD. You eat everyday no matter where you are. But you don't leave Kuching w/o eating some local and delicious food. My dad wanted to have some ice kacang so I brought him to Swee Kang Ais Kacang. Full house, no doubt. no matter at the old house or the shops. But luckily, we got to share table with a friendly Malay couple. So we got to taste the famous swee kang ais kacang shortly. The red beans are very sweet and "fat". me like me like!

we ordered RM5 rojak which is not so inspiring. ;p

Next, we had the birthday dinner @Bla bla bla. Had been planning to go there and finally here came the chance! Thanks Uncle for the treat. The interior is very unique and great ambiance. I love to see the effort they put in the interior design. Great environment did make you have a better appetite.

it is kinda hard to make sure my dad stare at the camera and take good picture.
so this is the only shot of us looking at the same spot.

Photo of the dishes we had.

Ostrich rolls !

Milin Salad

Sesame chicken

spinach with tofu soup

bean curd

and sweet & sour fish.

They had removed some signature dishes from the menu which I wonder why.

Sunny Hill ice- cream after dinner.

When can I try the other flavor? ;p

21st B'day Celebration #1

Finally, this is a post about what just happened yesterday night, not even 24 hours ago.
A big cheer to myself for being so efficient in a long time.
What I want to say is that I appreciate everything you guys did to make this happen.
Thanks for the dinner, present and the cake (surprise)!
I tot I gonna have a black 21 because I have been doing shit lately and I almost want to cancel this dinner.
I didn't expect much because like what I said just now, many things happened and I'm not in the mood for celebration. BUT, thank you very much for everything.

HAHAHA! meat made her day and she made my day.

went to Tian Sian Steamboat for dinner. Everything is delicious, beyond average.
Pricey but I personally think it is worth going and will go back again when I have extra pocket money. ;p

Thanks WS for driving all the way down to town to get me this cake. *Appreciate much
I didn't expect a cake, as I just mean to have a simple dinner.
Luckily I have my make up on, I almost go out with my bare face and luckily I didn't.
They are so cunning smart, successfully sneaked in the cake!
