Diving@ Miri Sea

HURRAY! I finally went to dive last May, which is two months ago. Actually I wanted to dive since last year but i only managed to do it last May. Btw, could finally leave a tick on my list, HAHA! okay, I'm going to tell you what is my diving course/ program about. I actually visited Coco dive center on a Saturday which is their working day but according to the staff next shop they went to dive that morning. no fate. Btw, i managed to contact them via email. and Grace is super efficient in replying my mail which make my little dream come true. it was a pretty sunny day so it is perfect for photo taking.

I go for the second choice which is discover scuba diving program. Here is some of the reply in my mail:

Your second choice a discover scuba diving program, where we go to the pool to get you to practice a few simple skills and get you use to using the equipment before going to open water. Once we finish in the pool you will go out with your instructor and do a dive to a max depth of 12 meters with you instructor.

The cost is 350 RM try dive including 1 dive, all equipment, marine park fees, lunch & refreshments and transfers to and from your hotel. The DSD program is 398 RM for one dive, + 50 RM if you want to do 2.

Here is some FAQ between me and Grace since some of my friends have been asking me almost the similar question.

1) I could complete the second choice in one day?
yes can be done in 1 day. morning pool session then straight go out sea for 1 dive.

2) dsd program is referring to second choice?
yes dsd is 2nd choice RM 398 pp which includes 1 pool session and 1 dives on the open sea.

3) can I know how much I need to pay to get the certificate as mentioned?
you mean the minimum 4 days OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE, right? the price is RM 1390 for 1 person; RM 1320pp for 2 pax joining; RM 1250 if you have 4 pax or more joining.

or  I could start the course anytime or depends on the number of candidates?

While getting ourselves ready

You could guess how much sunblock I applied from the colour on my face, LOL

My fins! :)

Exhausted after the first dive, munching an apple and biscuits before the second dive.

Some photo with other diver, they are both France! And I'm the only female Asian or mirian. *sorry for the blur picture, too shaky in the car

This pretty lady is Rachel, my instructor. She is really professional and patient! Thanks for being my instructor of the dive and making my diving trip extra awesome. Ignore my messy hair, I forgot to bring comb.

And a big kiss and thank to my parents for their support (; and God unfathomable grace for making this come true.
