2D1N in Semban, Kuching

Spent my birthday weekend joining my friends to Semban. I was so excited when I know they're going to visit the long neck tribe in Sarawak. It was extra fun on the way return to Kuching because it was raining heavily and I didn't bring my umbrella. I swear this makes the return trip extra fun! once in a lifetime, walking under the rain and get drenched!

Six hours of jungle trekking is real challenging, I swear this is the first and also the last time! I couldn't feel my legs on the first night, I was worried how am I going to leave this Kampung tmr with my sore legs. Counterpain gel is life saving and of course prayers! Part of me was thinking whether I can survive because 6 hours are way too challenging, what if I died on my birthday, HAHAHAHHA!

I did learnt something from this trip, sharing some spiritual gain. Life is like jungle trekking, ups and downs. You were tired but you gotta go on. Seeing or knowing what is in front isn't necessarily helpful. Sometime it can be depressing when you know you gotta climb up a bit more when you are already so tired. But God is always here with you, He is the light, the path, the strength. Let God lead you and guide you, He will provide all your need and protect you under His wings. Ask for strength when you're lack of, ask for courage when you need some, ask for faith when you have none. He has abundant and always willing to give. What I should/ can do is to take one step at a time, be careful & patience. Don't worry about what is in front of you, if you have doubt, always look back and count your blessing. You will always be amazed by God's grace.
