Day 1 in Minqing, Fujian

第三届马来西亚华裔青少年夏令营。When I first heard about this trip, I showed little interest or passion to join. But what make me so determined beside my parents' support is my mind saying:" YOLO, why not?". "You got to tour around Fuzhou and make new friends!" I think I just wanna have fun that time and this seems like a golden opportunity to grab!

I bet you got no interest to know about the transit and journey to get there, so I will straight away start with the arrival. I looked a bit awkward with my long sleeve

while the locals are all wearing short sleeve, the weather showed sunny & hot like m'sia. After we touched down the Chang Le airport, we headed to our destination which is 闽清职专,

someone told me it is exactly like our politeknik school in m'sia. We reached the school on sunday evening. To my surprise, there were students and teachers standing in front of the school gates and the LED board showed the warmest welcome.

LOL. And you know what? Students have to carry our luggage to our room, which is at the fifth floor without lift

& they have to climb staircases before the hostel staircases.

I felt so bad to have them carry my luggage. Btw, they were so obedience! First impression.

To our "surprise" the rooms were a bit,

yes, just what that comes to your mind. And last night stay at pent house @ berjaya times square make you feel extra .... But I was kind enough not to show you the toilet *bittersmile.

We have 4 meals daily include supper. Meals are prepared by the school canteen but they taste like restaurant standard. We have more than 10 dishes, roughly 15 dishes (3 soups) each meal. So, I bet they're the reason for the extra meat on my face. *grin
Breakfast menu is similar everyday.

Lunch or dinner, I forgot, this is just a quarter of the dishes we had.

We were touring around school after dinner. This is the classroom look. They are using blackboard and wooden tables and chairs,

 remind me of my primary school.

Before the end of day 1, we have supper at the school canteen. The hostel gate closed at 9pm and lights off at 10pm. So, basically, it is dark everywhere except our rooms. This is the group shot. (;
