Florence, beauty she is. Day 1

What is Florence to me? I had been hearing how good is Florence and people rated it as their favorite city so I told myself to make a trip to Florence since I will be visiting Rome. So that's the plan.
Florence, city of Renaissance.
Walking around the town and there is a lot of eye catching stuffs.
Day 1 is really packed because we only realized we have 1 and a half day in Florence.

I was so thrilled when I found out there is a promotion on the ticket which is only 10 Euro for Duomo, bell tower, Cupolla, Baptistery and Crypt. *hand clapping. You're advised to wear bottom that cover your knee, top that cover your shoulders to enter into the all the places I mentioned above. Or else you can spent 5 Euro for a scarf to cover yourself.

Duomo (left), Giotto's Bell tower (right)

Queued for 30 min to enter and this marked the record of the shortest queue of this trip. Below are the interior of Duomo.

Next, is the crypt at lower ground of Duomo.

Next, climbed 3284739648485092 steps to reach the top of Cupolla and overlooking the city. The view is breathtaking, so as the amount of time spent on queuing, climbing the stairs. When you're on the top of Cupolla, what you see is everything beside Cupolla. LOL.

Bell tower is just near.

In order to have this kinda beautiful view, there are some facts you need to know (below).

After that is the bell tower, yes, very tall and another 9217386432635463 steps.

And the baptistery

me and the gate of paradise

I don't understand each and everyone of them, just 1 to 2.

Interior

Wrote a postcard to my parents at home, and they still haven't receive it after 4 months... Where it goes? hmm.

In the afternoon, we went to the Accademia Gallery. 17 Euro for entrance to see the famous work of Michelangelo.

Rape of Sabine

Piano at Museum of musical

And the masterpiece, David. I was really amazed by the detail when I took a closer look, the pulsing veins, thigh muscle and torso.

Santa Maria Novella

Piazza della Signoria

Fountain of Neptune

Didn't make it to the Uffizi gallery this time. So, we headed straight to the Ponte Vecchio to catch the sunset. It is as beautiful as the postcard I bought.

At night, we went to the Piazza Michelangelo by taking bus 12/13. We almost failed to make it because the bus drivers are running out of tickets and they don't speak English. We hopped on the bus and wanted to purchase the bus tickets from the drivers but he gave no response but so devoted in driving. Some other passengers are also standing at the entrance but he gave no attention to us. A kind korean try to explain the situation to me in Korean but I understand nothing, luckily he explained again in English afterwards. It is beautiful seeing tourist helping out tourists. Another Philippines came out to rescue. She gave us her ticket before she left the bus and my friends and I got scared and decided to come down from the bus at the same station with them. She managed to explain to us the situation and told us we might get fine at 50 Euro if caught. *sweat. HAHA. She is so kind that she helped us to catch the bus and communicate to the bus drivers so we could get our tickets after a few attempt. She is really an angel God sent. May God bless her. Thank you so much but we never get to see each other anymore, perhaps.

Night view of Florence is so charming, with the help of strangers. We had a great night in Florence.  Thank You, strangers. Thank you, Lord.
