City Pass for San Francisco

City pass seems like a great deal to get access to some of the interesting places in town while giving you an option to save money. We got our city pass during our second week in San Francisco. We went to Aquarium of the Bay, Exploratorium, Blue and Gold Fleet Cruises and California Academy of Science. You can sub the cruise with the Alcatraz day tour but we did not sub for it because we are planning to go for the award winning night tour. You can also sub Exploratorium for De Young Museum. It will always be a free day for De Young Museum each month so we are planning to visit De Young on the free Museum Day.

It comes with unlimited access to Munibus and Cable car for 9 days since the initial date of use.

First stop was Aquarium of the Bay at Pier 39. It is a lot smaller when compared to Monetary Bay Aquarium. We opted for Aquarium of the Bay because it can be easily access via bus. However, we are kinda disappointed by the facts that it is a lot smaller and nothing much to see as an aquarium. I will recommended you to go for Monetary Bay of Aquarium instead.

Some photos taken at Aquarium of the Bay.

we get to touch some of the sea creatures at Aquarium of the Bay.

Exploratorium

If you like physics, psychology and sciences, this is the right place for you.
We spent about 2 hours here.

 California Academy of Science

This place is way too cool! It is a combination of aquarium, rain forest and natural science. Make sure you try to experience the earthquake and check out the time for theater.

Lastly, it is the cruise.
It goes under the Golden Gate Bridge and tours around Alcatraz. No, we didn't board to Alcatraz. Explanation are given during the cruise. We were just in time to catch the sunset on the cruise and it is so beautiful.

You can get your city pass at any of the places included in the city pass.
